I am D. Priyanka, a dedicated Odissi and Mahari dancer with a career spanning over 19 years. As the Dance Director of Shree Jagannath Odissi Kala Kendra in Paralakhemundi, I have passionately promoted and taught Odissi dance, guiding students through classical exams and competitions at various levels. My experience extends to choreographing for TV shows and organizing an international dance festival that attracts artists from across the globe.My extensive performance background includes prestigious festivals such as the Konark Festival, Mukteswar Festival, and the International Odissi Dance Festival, as well as global stages in Singapore, Malaysia, and Bangkok. Recognized for my contributions to dance, I have received numerous awards, including the Prativa Samman and the Nritya Charushile Yuva Prativa Puraskar.In addition to my artistic achievements, I hold an MA in Sanskrit, a B.Ed, and an Alankar Poorna degree in Dance from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharav Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai. Based in Paralakhemundi, Odisha, I am committed to preserving and enhancing Indian art and cultural heritage through my work.
